With over 15 years of experience on the live circuit, Transmitter are Ireland's most in-demand professional live act for the big occasion. With a powerful and energetic setlist, they mix the biggest anthems of today with classic hits from the past 5 decades, to create an incendiary live show. Brothers Stewart, David and Robert Quinn (who have been with band since the black and white days of casette tapes, VHS, and Atlantic 252) are aided and abetted by new member (but old friend) Wayne Connaughton on the bass guitar. In recent years, Transmitter have played at events as diverse as O2 In The Park (to 120 thousand people), PPI National Radio Awards 2010/11/12/13 (Lyrath Estate, Kilkenny), Croke Park Stadium 2011/12/13 confirmed for 2014), College/Society/Graduation Balls and exclusive wedding, CopperFace Jacks Nightclub in Dublin and performed at the GAA/GPA Allstar Awards 2011 and 2014. They have appeared on RTE and BBC Television, had their original music played extensively on National and Local Radio (including live sessions on 2FM and TodayFM), and toured in the UK, Europe and the US.
