Thomas Godoj feierte 2023 sein 15jähriges Bühnenjubiläum! Das mag überraschen – entschied er sich nach seinem DSDS-Sieg 2008 doch bewusst gegen eine Präsenz in den Boulevardmedien und flog die meiste Zeit unter dem Radar der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung. Der Hype war groß, aber Godoj war klar, dass die Arbeit erst danach beginnt und er wollte sowieso immer nur Musik machen. Also Haken dran und Fokus auf das Wesentliche: mit seiner großartigen Band + und ehrlicher, deutscher Rockmusik energiegeladene Live-Shows abliefern. In seinen aussagekräftigen Texten nimmt er kein Blatt vor den Mund, macht aus seiner Haltung keinen Hehl und spricht immer wieder gesellschaftskritische Themen an. Mit seiner unverwechselbaren charismatischen Stimme scheut er auch Emotionen und Melancholie nicht. Das ergibt eine einzigartige Mischung. 8 Alben sind im Laufe der Jahre entstanden. Vor allem mit den letzten beiden - „13 Pfeile“ + „Stoff“ - ist Godoj bei seinem Sound angekommen, der sich zwischen Alternative Rock, Metal + New Rock bewegt und sich durch fette Gitarrenriffs und hymnische Refrains auszeichnet. Seit 2014 finanziert er die Produktion seiner Alben mit rekordverdächtigen Crowdfundings. Das Crowdfunding für das 10. Studioalbum "Kreuzwege" läuft noch bis zum 01.
