Has crossed musical paths with local faves like the Doobies, Tower of Power, and Sons of Champlin David James keys, guitar, vocals Roots: New Jersey Been doing this since….a little kid playing piano Influences: Hancock, Corea, Jimmy Smith, Chuck Leavell, Jan Hammer and Keith Emerson Doug Lippi drums / percussion Roots: San Francisco, CA Been doing this since…..4th grade. Kicked out of every music class since then for disruptive behavior. I think it was just a series of misunderstandings… Founding member of 1997 SF Bay Guardian Band of the Year award winners Carlos, Doug took time off to raise his family. Twenty years later, with none of his kids pregnant or in jail he has considered that a success and is now ready to rock again with TinMan!!!
