Train To Roots HiFi is the new project from the legendary Sardinian reggae band — a new musical adventure that brings them to the stage in a completely fresh and original form.
Born from long and intense creative sessions at Roble Factory in Alghero, the project transforms their classic songs and most recent tracks into special remixed and rearranged versions, enriched with modern sounds and an innovative approach. For years, Train To Roots have been among the leading names in the European reggae scene, captivating audiences at hundreds of concerts thanks to their constant artistic growth and explosive live energy.
Their sound blends the power of Jamaican reggae with world music influences, combining socially conscious and ironic lyrics sung in Italian, Sardinian, and English. 2024 marks the beginning of the celebration of their 20-year career, with an international tour extending through 2025, taking the band to Latin America, with shows in Venezuela (November 2024) and Mexico (December 2025), as well as the Gherreros Tour (Spring 2025, with Shakalab) across the UK, Spain, and Italy, including the opening of Manu Chao’s concert in Alghero, where the new project Train To Roots HiFi made its successful debut.  Train To Roots HiFi è il nuovo progetto della storica band sarda: una nuova avventura musicale che li vede sul palco in una veste totalmente inedita.
Un progetto nato da lunghe e intense sessioni di lavoro alla Roble Factory di Alghero, in cui i classici di ieri e i brani più recenti vengono trasformati in versioni speciali, remixate e riarrangiate con suoni più moderni e un approccio innovativo. Da anni protagonisti della scena reggae europea, i Train To Roots hanno conquistato il pubblico di centinaia di concerti grazie a una crescita artistica costante e a live esplosivi.
Uniscono la forza del reggae giamaicano alle contaminazioni della world music, alternando testi impegnati e ironici in italiano, sardo e inglese. Il 2024 segna l’inizio della celebrazione dei vent’anni di carriera con un tour internazionale che si estende fino al 2025, portando la band in America Latina, con concerti in Venezuela (novembre 2024) e Messico (dicembre 2025), oltre alle tappe del Gherreros Tour (primavera 2025, con Shakalab) in Regno Unito, Spagna e Italia, e l’apertura del live di Manu Chao ad Alghero, dove ha debuttato con successo il nuovo progetto Train To Roots HiFi.
