About Usurum
Η μουσική των Usurum πηγάζει από την αγάπη τους για το τραγούδι, την ποίηση, την περιέργεια για τον ήχο, την παρατήρηση και το αστικό τοπίο. Θέματα όπως η αγάπη, ο θάνατος, η συναισθηματική αυτοκατάδυση και το αποτύπωμα της σύγχρονης αστικής ζωής, είναι συχνά παρόντα στα τραγούδια τους. Ποιητικός λόγος, ηλεκτρονική μουσική, άμεσος στίχος και ήσυχα ηχητικά περιβάλλοντα εναλλάσσονται και συνυπάρχουν τόσο στα ηχογραφήματα, όσο και στις ζωντανές τους εμφανίσεις. Το ηχητικό τους σύμπαν περιλαμβάνει υβριδικά ακουστικά και ηλεκτρονικά κρουστά, όργανα–παιχνίδια, αναλογικά synthesizers και πολυφωνικό τραγούδι.
Το γκρουπ δημιουργήθηκε το 2008 από τέσσερις φίλους, μαθητές του Μουσικού Σχολείου Αλίμου και έχει έδρα την Αθήνα. Έκτοτε έχουν κυκλοφορήσει πέντε προσωπικούς δίσκους (Usurum- 2013, Τι Δίκαιο Του Πειρασμού - 2017, Μη Και Δεν - 2018, Ασανσερ - 2021, Μάτια Κάμερες - 2024) και έχουν εμφανιστεί σε πολλές μουσικές σκηνές και φεστιβάλ ανα την Ελλάδα (Gagarin 205, Fuzz, Gazarte, Six Dogs, Τεχνόπολη Δήμου Αθηναίων, WE, Block33, Ziria Festival, Fengaros Festival, Πικ Νικ Urban Festival κ.ά.).
