Velveeta was formed in the summer of 1995 in State College, PA as pretty much a joke, with the intention of playing occasionally doing only the finest in cheesy 80's music. By the following spring we were playing 3 nights a week and the joke apparently was on us. Since then we've played all over PA and East Coast in all kinds of situations (very little we haven't done at this point). We've been through a couple personnel changes but as of 2008 we have regrouped with 4 original members and are currently quite simply a lean mean rocking machine.
