Melvin Pelupessy, known to the world as The Viper, has spent most of his life hooked on music. His passion led him to start as a DJ and producer in the early nineties. Over the years, The Viper became a household name on leading dance music labels such as Babyboom Records, Viper Beatz, and Neophyte Records. On these imprints, The Viper dropped tons of hardcore classics like “Come As One,” “Bulletproof,” “Coming Home,” and “Raging In The Dancehall.” His song “Wild & Free” is extremely close to hitting 10 million streams! Alongside these countless solo productions and collaborations, The Viper is widely recognized as one of the harder styles’ best remixers and bootleggers.! His resume contains monsters like Sunbeam’s “Twisted World,” Tha Playah’s “Fuck The Titties,” Critical Mass’ “Burning Love” including his remixes of Paul Elstak’s “Love u More” and “Promised land” and lets not forget “2 Brothers on the 4th floor-“Come take my hand”. Next to being a next level dj/producer he also shows his skills through his company Viper Productions, by using his knowledge, sounds and skills for multiple projects for (international) clients over the past decade. The Viper has been showing his skills behind the decks by mixing and scratching the best tracks and has been making dancefloors move all over the globe. From the best stages all over Europe including Tomorrowland to countries including China, Australia, the U.S.A.,and the UK. But The Viper has always been “Coming Home” to the biggest Dutch stages, such as Qlimax, Defqon.1, Decibel Outdoor, Mysteryland, Thunderdome, Masters of Hardcore, and Dominator. ``Ultimate Vibe`` In 2023, The Viper embarked on an exciting new venture by launching his record label and platform, “Ultimate Vibe”. A new collective focussing on fresh new talent and provide them with a dedicated space for innovative and energetic new sounds in hardcore. He also released a new album that same year named “Ultimate Vibe”, reinforcing again, his reputation for producing uplifting and melodic hardcore music. The album showcases his signature style; blending powerful beats with euphoric melodies, and has been well-received by fans and critics alike. With Ultimate Vibe, The Viper not only continues to push the boundaries of hardcore music but also creates a new community for artists and listeners to connect and thrive together. Next to his very long career in hardcore, The Viper himself is an excellent all-around DJ, which he showcased frequently during his DJ sets: a blend of all Harder styles in one performance.
