Growing up in small town southern Ohio, country music was a major part of the community. Will however, wasn't just surrounded by the great storytellers of country, but with the infectious melodies of pop music, the soul of blues, the sound-stage of classic rock n roll, and the rhythms of RnB. Growing up in a musical home - his mother, a piano player and background vocalist to several groups in the 70's and 80's - every type of music was played. And it is very evident in his writing, bringing the best of every genre to each and every song. Will is no stranger to the music industry either. Will Garrett is a true artist in every sense of the word. He is an extremely rare creative force who is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, record producer, and performer who entertains audiences all around the world. Much like sought after multi-threats (such as Ryan Tedder - OneRepublic, Benny Blanco, etc.), Garrett’s talent and deep appreciation for all types of music is evident in his comprehensive studio skills, capable of composing, arranging, playing multiple instruments, and overseeing the production of a track from concept to completion. Cutting his teeth in Los Angeles at 20yo, he signed a record deal with DMG / Universal Music Group as the lead vocalist of a pop-rock group. After releasing several albums, and touring hundreds of thousands of miles supporting such acts such as Train, John Legend, OneRepublic, Andy Grammer, Gym Class Heroes, etc., they left the label and disbanded. Shortly after, he made a move from Los Angeles to Nashville, TN, dove in head-first, and writes and produces records with many other A-List artists and #1 songwriters. He also is plays guitar, piano, playback, and sings background vocals in the band Secondhand Serenade - touring all over the world. This year however, he is focusing serious time on a solo career - releasing a brand new music and touring. Additionally, Will has recently been endorsed with some amazing companies, including Taylor Guitars, Audio-Technica, Kawai Pianos, Alclair, and more. It just goes to show you what hard work and dedication to a craft will do.
