About Whiskey Myers

Genre-bending band Whiskey Myers have played more than 2,500 live shows to ever-increasing crowd sizes since their emergence in 2007. Their forthcoming self-produced album, Tornillo, set for release July 29, follows their self-produced fifth studio album, WHISKEY MYERS, out now on the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records. WHISKEY MYERS debuted at No. 1 on both the Country and Americana/Folk sales charts, at No. 2 on the Rock chart and No. 6 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart (No. 3 among new releases). Their previous album, Mud, reached No. 1 on the iTunes country chart with single “Stone” hitting Top 10 all genre. In total, Whiskey Myers have sold more than 1.2 million albums and amassed over 1.5 billion streams while earning three RIAA Gold certifications. USA Today describes the band led by frontman Cody Cannon as “a riff-heavy blend of Southern rock and gritty country that has earned comparisons to the Allman Brothers Band and Led Zeppelin,” with Rolling Stone noting “it’s the seminal combination of twang and crunchy rock & roll guitars that hits a perfect sweet spot.” The band known for their high-energy live show and unique sound has also earned sync success with features (and an on-screen appearance) in Paramount Network’s hit show “Yellowstone” as well as the Renée Zellweger-led Netflix series “What/If,” the Angelina Jolie film “Those Who Wish Me Dead” and hit CBS series “SEAL Team.”

One of the most amazing shows I have been too. So polished but free. Every band member was on fire! I loved the back up singers got to do two songs (ladies killed it👏👏👏)John on slide guitar put on a masterclass. I could barely keep up with all the changes and notes he was playing. They made broken window hurt, it felt raw and wow it out the song in a whole new light. I could go on and on but from the opening acts to the final notes played it was amazing. Thank you to the band each of you are wonderful.

All in all great show. Cody’s voice needs a rest. Sound was bad. If it was the bands system need to fix it or if it’s the venue then Shane on them. Vocals were muddy and Cannons mic was either not on or not working at times . However it is awesome to see them in this venue. Lucky if you went because soon you may not be so lucky to se them in such a nice small venue. Keep on rockin dudes. Also to all the fans it’s great to see fans sing along

The band is spectacular, especially John Jeffers who is breathtaking. It was fantastic despite Cody Cannon’s out-of-sync-with-music delivery of the lyrics, especially early in the set. (Hey Cody, if you are bored with “bars, guitars and honky tonk crowd” then play something else. And decide on the lyrics for “Ballad of a Southern Man” because you never sing it the same twice.) Cody’s delivery improved through the set and the new music was really good and well received. That was my 15th WM concert and it won’t be the last.

Five stars! Band never disappoints!! They played some of their songs off the new album also which was awesome!! Only negative thing is I bought a Merch Package with my ticket that had a backpack, bolo tie, lanyard and commemorative ticket, but the “surprise gift” that was advertised was not included so I felt kind of gipped on that!! The Merch person told me none of the bags had the surprise gift so I will not buy any merch packages for future shows! C. Jones Prairie Grove, Arkansas

Impressive! High energy band that can rock n’ roll with the best of them. The twin guitar attack is powerful and non stop. The only things missing from this show were the back up singers and the horns. This band has found a great sound that is reminiscent of Southern Rock greats but with a modern twist. From the size of the crowd and the response from the crowd this band is on an upward climb and may just may just be what the Doctor ordered to keep rockin’.
