About Westlife

Westlife is a four piece Irish vocal group composed of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan. They have had 14 #1 singles grace UK charts to date, which puts them third behind only Elvis and The Beatles. Westlife is the only band to have their first 7 singles debut at #1 on UK charts. They have proven successful around the world except in the United States, where they have a sparse fanbase in spite of their A&R manager, Simon Cowell's fame. In 2004 they became a fourpiece when Dubliner Brian Mcfadden left the band. The band continued to have success in spite of being one less, and had two additional #1 singles. Westlife have won Record of The Year in 1999, 2000, 2003, and 2005 with "Flying Without Wings", "My Love", "Mandy", and "You Raise Me Up". They have also released 3 more albums since 2004; 'Allow Us To Be Frank' (a tribute to the Rat Pack), 'Face to Face' (which included one of their biggest hits in You Raise Me Up) and their latest, 'The Love Album', which includes 11 of the best love songs from the modern music era. Westlife have consistently released an album in the fall each year since their inception.
