Roots Country Music, Born of Gin Halls and Juke Joints – Hank Williams passion, Carter family harmonies, with a little Hee Haw mixed in for good measure. The WhiskeyBelles are an all-female traditional country and Americana trio featuring pitch-perfect three-part harmonies and their own hot fiddle, guitar and bass playing. The ‘Belles have personalities as big as the Texan skyline - they have a great time on stage, and love to share the fun with their audience. They released their debut album, Whiskey Woman, on July 29, 2012 kicking off a full schedule of gigs including coveted opening slots for country stars Jana Kramer, Montgomery Gentry, The Charlie Daniel’s Band, Sawyer Brown, Kentucky Headhunters, Lost Trailers and Cadillac Three. They followed up their first album on November 30th, 2013 with the release of a raucous Christmas album aptly titled, Nothin’ Says Christmas Like Whiskey! Then in 2015 released a energy packed live album called Tales From the Bootlegger‘s Ball. A Fourth studio album is currently in production. Their albums have garnered praise from Milwaukee Magazine, naming Whiskey Woman in their list of “Best Local Albums of 2012” and ranking Nothin’ Says Christmas Like Whiskey in their “Top 10 Picks for November 2013”. “One band that makes their performance look like more fun than legally allowed is the WhiskeyBelles. Both of their studio albums (Whiskey Woman & Nothin’ Says Christmas Like Whiskey) have received widespread radio play across the U.S. and as far away as France and The Netherlands. The title track from their debut album, Whiskey Woman, recently climbed to #8 on the monthly Freeform American Roots Chart (FAR). The chart is assembled of reports from 130 radio stations worldwide. FAR is compiled by John Conquest for 3rd Coast Music Magazine, the essential eNewspaper for American Roots music. While working on a new album, the WhiskeyBelles have kept a busy schedule performing over 75 shows in 2016.
