About Yori Swart
2023 wordt het jaar van Yori. Niet alleen gaat de zangeres op tour langs de
Nederlandse poppodia, maar in het nieuwe jaar verschijnt ook haar
langverwachte nieuwe album dat in het teken staat van verandering. Zo komen
Yori’s drang naar vrijheid en het zoeken naar extremen in haar nieuwe songs
naar voren, maar ook de heartbreak waarmee ze heeft gedeald en het keihard
vallen en weer opstaan na avonturen die minder goed afliepen.
Yori staat in 2023 voor meer durven, meer vertellen en meer geven. Niet gek dus
dat haar sound van lief naar meer lef gaat en van akoestische gitaar naar meer
elektronisch. Gooi daar een vleugje indie-pop, 80’s invloeden en catchy hooks
overheen en je weet wat je van Yori kunt verwachten in het nieuwe jaar. Niet
alleen op haar album, maar ook tijdens haar clubtour in april 2023.
Naast dat Yori de afgelopen jaren songs schreef voor artiesten als Roxeanne
Hazes, Bente, Maan en Filous was ze op het podium te vinden als sidekick van
Ilse DeLange bij haar vele optredens in binnen- en buitenland. In het verleden
won Yori prijzen als de Grote Prijs van Nederland, de Amsterdamse Popprijs en
de Sena Pop NL Award. Haar laatste clubtour was in 2020.
