Best known as 1/5 of the hugely popular boy band Backstreet Boys, AJ McLean is a singer/songwriter and dancer, known for his soulful, pop, rock, and R&B-influenced style. McLean initially rose to fame with the Backstreet Boys in the late '90s. With countless #1s, record-setting tours, numerous awards and worldwide sales in excess of 180 million, the Backstreet Boys have been recognized as the best-selling boy band in history. Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 1978, AJ McLean's journey into the performing arts started early, with a focus on dance and an acting debut at age eight in the 1986 film Truth or Dare.
