Tacoma, WA’s Alex Vile began as a solo project in 2021 with singer/guitarist Alexandra Vilenius and has turned into a 3 piece Modern, Indie Grunge band with the addition of Kaelyn Stevens on bass & Evan Hartung on drums. With DIY Roots, they have crafted their own space by putting their own twist on the genre. The band has toured the West Coast, played numerous Northwest shows and festivals, and supported acts like Margaritas Podridas, Glixen, Skating Polly, Sincere Engineer, The Velveteers, and Paerish. Alex Vile has recorded an album's worth of songs with Producer Jim Kaufman (Everclear, Night Riots, Helmet, Return to Dust).
