About Alejandro y Maria Laura
Alejandro Rivas y Maria Laura Bustamante son un dúo de cantautores nacidos en Lima, Perú. Al escucharlos sorprende la manera como se acopla una voz con la otra. Se hacen evidentes los años que llevan viviendo y cantando juntos.
Han publicado cuatro discos desde el 2011. Las canciones reflejan las distintas etapas de sus vidas, desde un ‘Paracaídas’ casi adolescente hasta un ‘Madre Padre Marte’ transformado por el nacimiento y los primeros años de su hija.
Su performance en vivo ha ido ganando carga emotiva sin dejar de ser espontánea y cercana. A veces solos, a guitarra y voz, a veces con banda, siempre logran que sus conciertos sean un viaje donde se ríe, se llora y se baila.
Diversos géneros musicales latinoamericanos nutren las canciones de Alejandro y Maria Laura, así como el amor por el cine y el teatro.
Inquietos, viajaron mucho dentro y fuera del Perú. Grabaron sus primeros dos discos en Buenos Aires. Compusieron su tercer álbum en el Cusco. Vivieron dos años en la Ciudad de México y actualmente residen en Valencia, España.
