About Adam Douglas
The American abroad, Adam Douglas has established himself in Norway as one of the most remarkable soul voices the Norwegian audience has seen. With his singer/songwriter background from the United States, he has played and collaborated with many international greats such as Jon Bon Jovi, Al Jarreau, Larry Carlton, and Michael Landau - Adam thrives in his adopted Norwegian homeland as a songwriter and performer both as a solo artist and as a member of the band High Red. Adam has also enjoyed the great pleasure of working many of Norway’s established artists such as Frode Alnæs, Vidar Busk, and Knut Anders Sørum. Adam’s music and vocal prowess is reminiscent of the true soul and blues roots of his home country. Nevertheless, his musical expression unfolds widely - as represented by the glowing reviews from his debut solo album, “I May Never Learn” (2015). The same album yielded great radio success with songs like the ever-popular “I Once Was An Honest Guy” and others from listings on NRK P1. With his “nice-guy” persona, the hat on the head, and guitar in tow, audiences are hard pressed not to stomp their feet in time with Adam’s musical universe. Crowds big and small experience a familiar and genuine musical delivery that embraces the best of Pop, Folk, RnB, Country, and Rock n’ Roll! In the autumn of 2017, Adam Douglas will be a featured performer on NRK’s smash television success - “Stjernekamp”. But already in June has Adam released his newest recorded single, “Your One And Only Man (Again)”. In the spring 2018, Adam and company will embark on a large-scale live tour that is not to be missed.
