Alex Blue is a queer, Jewish, Latina folk and pop singer-songwriter with a career spanning the better part of two decades. Starting on YouTube during its golden age, she grew an online following of two million across platforms. Over the years she has collaborated with beloved artists and brands, ultimately finding a home within songwriting. Alex’s strengths as a songwriter—poetic lyricism, truthful storytelling, stirring melodies—are integrated into an artistry that is authentic and transfixing. She writes, performs, and produces music that is grounding, transparent, and connective; that doesn’t demand attention but invites listeners into an experience that is gentle and generous. Her 2024 album Kin is a musical memoir of family ties, diaspora, loss, and queer motherhood. Her songs have been listened to millions of times. She's currently working on a debut novel based on her experience as a YouTuber.
