Agatha is a two piece girl band based in Milano, Italy. We are Pamela, bass, pedals, noise and voice and Claudia, drums, beats, and loud cymbals. We started playing in 2003 with daniela at the guitar and then with viole from 2008 to january 2010. Then we decided to continue in two, playing louder than before. We love playing loud music, metal riffs, diy concerts and records, nice people all over the world, having fun and playing for fun. We're active in the punk diy scene of our hometown organising shows, being in collectives and printing zines. We did several tours and played almost everywhere in Italy and Europe. We released a cd "Greetings from ssg" (Wallace-Vurt)in 2005, a 7" "Getting dressed for a death metal party" in 2008 (Wallace, Stress To Death, Smartz and many more) In 2011 was released "Goatness" (Wallace REcords-Basement City), the first one only in two, only in vynil with a wonderful cover made by the italian tattoo master Pietro Sedda and black metal photos by Elena Buscemi. The record is still in free download here: www.mediafire.com/?yzgz2ynzzna. In May 2014 was released our latest record "Gravis atque gravior" by a big diy world label conspiracy, either in vynil, cd and tape. We also celebrated our tenth birthday and we're still doing what we love most: playing and being on the road. you can download the record here: www.mediafire.com/folder/z765k3g7r8pwz/Agatha_-_2013_-_Gravis_Atque_Gravior "Agatha is a Bifrons-goatness with the faces of Pamela and Claudia, - kicking-in-your-face drums and double bass formula, burnt with vitriol. now everything is helplessly deep black, no oxygen left, - noise metal, hc, heavier than before, a mud bath of dirty distortion, faster and faster, slowed down by Pamela's growling vocals. Sort of Melvins vs. Zeus! vs. the metal curvature of Unsane. Of course, with a feminine touch. Maybe not that feminine, actually. A kick in the ass is a kick in the ass. Gender makes no difference" (Komakino) "Sludgy bass/drums chaos from italy.these two women make a nasty sounding racket, with disjointed rhythms and plenty of extraneous noise to fill any void left by the absence of guitar. Goatness is really good at the start, but it just gets better as the records goes on-a killer release" (maximumrockndroll) "Agatha lost a guitar but found Satan" (Gnappo-Ekidna) FREE DOWNLOAD Gravis Atque Gravior www.mediafire.com/folder/z765k3g7r8pwz/Agatha_-_2013_-_Gravis_Atque_Gravior
