Multitalent Bilal Wahib, geboren en getogen in Amsterdam, brak door bij het grote publiek als acteur met hoofdrollen in onder andere De Libi en Mocro Maffia. Zijn talent blijft echter niet beperkt tot één discipline, zo bleek toen hij in 2019 zijn eerste single 'Vliegen' (titeltrack van De Libi) lanceerde. Daarna ging het snel: hij tekende een platencontract bij Top Notch, zijn eerste single 'Video Vixen' schoot naar platina en 'Tigers' werd de klapper met diamantstatus. In 2021 bracht hij zijn debuutalbum 'El Mehdi' uit met hitsingles als '501', 'Streken van een Duivel' en 'Ibiza'. In de jaren daarna dook Bilal opnieuw zijn studio in om zijn eigen geluid te vinden. Deze heeft hij inmiddels gevonden, wat resulteerde in de release van 'Overdosis': een gouden single die veelvuldig werd gedraaid op de radio. Muzikaal wil Bilal de lijn van 'Overdosis' doorzetten: pop met een typisch Bilal-randje op uptempo houseproducties. Op 2 mei staat hij in Paradiso met fullband, een optreden waar hij als echte Amsterdammer ontzettend trots op is.
