The Back Alley will make you jam out. The high-powered Chicago indie rock quintet is made up of lead singer Ralph Porter, who joined forces with guitarist Jaden Cone, drummer Ben Kremer and Ax and the Hatchetmen members Sal Defilippis and Hunter Olshefke in 2022. A quickly rising name in the Midwest indie scene, The Back Alley has earned national recognition through singles “Grey Skies” and “Brand New,” both released in 2024. With striking riffs and catchy vocals, the group has given audiences something to dance about. Their tours and discography are growing, meaning only one thing — the best is yet to come.
