About Bruce Springsteen
Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen (born September 23, 1949), nicknamed The Boss, is an American songwriter, singer and musician. He has recorded and toured with the E Street Band. Springsteen is widely known for his brand of heartland rock infused with pop hooks, poetic lyrics, and Americana sentiments centered around his native New Jersey. Springsteen's recordings have tended to alternate between commercially accessible rock albums and somber folk-oriented works. Much of his status stems from the concerts and marathon shows in which he and the E Street Band present intense ballads, rousing anthems, and party rock and roll songs, amongst which he intersperses whimsical or deeply emotional stories. His most famous albums, Born to Run and Born in the U.S.A., epitomize his penchant for finding grandeur in the struggles of daily life. He has gradually become identified with progressive politics. He is also noted for his support of various relief and rebuilding efforts in New Jersey and elsewhere, and for his response to the September 11, 2001, attacks, on which his album The Rising reflects. He has earned numerous awards for his work, including eighteen Grammy Awards and an Academy Award, and continues to have a strong global fan base. He has sold over 65 million albums in the U.S, and 120 million worldwide.

Bruce and the E Street band puts on a good and very long live show at near 3 hours. Some of it was lost on some of the audience as some people around me stopped paying attention mid way through the set, but when he played the hits, born to run, dancing in the dark, the whole crowd came alive.

Bruce is 73 years old and rocks likes he’s 33…for 3 hours. Not to mention the heart stopping, pants dropping, earth shocking, hard rocking, booty shaking, love making, viagra taking, history making, legendary E STREET BAND! We all love Bruce, so whether you’re a longtime fan or just getting into his music now, you will not be disappointed.

I would have given it a perfect FIVE, but because of the STUPID COVID, they were missing 3 of the E Street Band members. I really missed Steven Van Zandt. The show was amazing, Bruce was amazing! He played for 3 hours and I loved every song! Might have loved to hear them play Jungle Land though 🎶❤️

The show was fantastic. The band really rocked that night. Even though the show started over an hour late (Bruce’s plane was delayed), the band still gave us a 3 hour show which did not end until 11:45 pm. If you have the chance, go see Bruce in concert. You will not be disappointed.

This was my 4th time seeing Bruce Springsteen and although he wasn’t sliding on the stage and jumping up on speakers he still has the energy to pull off a 3 hour show. The band has never sounded better and the horn section and backup singers added so much sound. Fantastic experience. He is The Boss.

Seen him multiple times over the last decade but in my opinion, his best days are far behind him. Hopefully the stageprompter was not essential for Born to Run.. and ofcourse the very bad acoustic in the Merkur Spiel-Arena was not helping him either but The Boss is just nog at his power anymore.

Spectacular! Absolutely one of the finest big event rock and roll shows I have ever experienced. From start to finish the show was everything a fan of Springsteen and the E Street Band could have ever hoped for- a high energy performance that ran the catalog of music. Thanks for bringing it all!

Even though I sat behind the stage I still had a good view and time with all the old songs including promised land, thunder road, rosalita and others. Some of the E Street band were not there including his wife Patti and Norton Buffalo but the newer members including Jake played outstanding.

Fantastic night out. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bruce played for 3 hours with no supporting act. His voice was so strong and powerful and his energy was amazing. Sound and lighting was also fantastic. I went with my husband and son and waited years to see him. We certainly wasn’t disappointed.
