Betrayer nace en 2008 en Buenos Aires, Republica Argentina,nace de la mano de GABRIEL TANO DE GIUSEPPE , guitarrista y compositor. y fundador de la banda ,A los largo de estos años la banda sufrio alteraciones de integrantes y hoy 2017 cuenta con formacion estable. La banda esta enmarcada en el Groove-Metal , Ningun estilo escapa,con influencias varias de thrash, death, black, deathcore, heavy y hasta Hard Rock. A lo largo de estos pocos años, la banda a crecido en la escena Argentina,logrando un lugar importante;compartiendo shows con las bandas mas grandes del pais, como Tren Loco, Almafuerte,y todas las bandas del Metal del Circuito medio y Under.... y tambien como teloneros de bandas Reconocidas de la Escena Mundial: 2009: junto a Arch Enemy 2010: Lamb of God 2011: ( agosto) Testament ( Octubre) Immortal 2011: Children Of Boddom 2012: Convocados por la Productora de Uruguay Lado Oscuro para telonear a Arch Enemy en ese pais. feb 2015 junto Arch Enemy en el teatro de flores 2015 UNICOS TELONEROS DE CANNIBAL CORPSE Y TESTAMENT EN GROOVE 2016 junto a ANGELUS APATRIDA EN UNRUGUAY 2016mayo BRUJERIA en groove 2017 junto a AMON AMATH Y ABBATH EN GROOVE (UNICO TELONERO NACIONAL) Betrayer tambien es una de las bandas patrocinadas por el Ministerio de Cultura de la Nacion Argentina tocando en el Palais de Glace uno de los Centros Culturales mas importantes/ A la fecha la Banda lleva infinidades de shows en su ciudad natal Buenos Aires y a lo largo de todo el pais. Recientemente editando y presentando su primer trabajo Independiente editado por el Sello CERO GANANCIA titulado "TOO LOUD" con una GRAN repercucion en la escena. Contando con invitados de lujo de la talla nacional internacional, destacando en el tema "In my Heart" la participación del cantante sueco Johan Liiva ( ex Arch Enemy) entre otros. Although BETRAYER sound can be defined as Groove Metal, the band explores beyond this label, musically, and influences from other styles such as thrash, death, black, deathcore, heavy and even hard rock can be found in its music. Through all these years, and despite of being a young band, BETRAYER has established as an important act in the local metal scene in Argentina, sharing stage and playing not only with the most important local metal bands, but also with international acts, like Arch Enemy (2009), Lamb of God (2010), Testament and Immortal 2011. Furthermore, BETRAYER has also conquered metal fans abroad, playing in Uruguay for the first time in EL LADO OSCURO OPEN AIR in 2011, with local and argentinian bands, and the main act beingh Children of Bodom. And in november 2012, BETRAYER visited Uruguay once again to share stage with Arch Enemy. In 2009 the EP debut is released, obtaining very good reviews from the press, and a great response from the fans. After some changes in the line up, finally the debut album is being recorded and released in 2014: “Too Loud”, was the chosen name, being released by Cero Ganancia, it shows BETRAYER at their finest moment, being very well received by the media and the fans. Now BETRAYER prepares to present “Too Loud” all along Argentina and also in other southamerican countries, showing all the power and its explosive live act!
