Born Busisiwe Nolubabalo Nqwiliso in Kimberly and raised in Klerksdorp, North West, Bucie discovered her innate talent for music at a young age. In 2005, Bucie auditioned for the Soul City soundtrack and found herself singing and dancing in the Chicco-produced group Maubani. Her talent continued to shine as she participated in various projects, including a youth project in 2006, where she shared the stage with music icons like Judith Sephuma and Tshepo Tshola. Bucie's breakthrough came with her song "Turn Me On," which she wrote herself and collaborated with the legendary DJ and producer Black Coffee. The song skyrocketed to success, reaching number one on Traxsource and earning both artists global recognition in the house music scene. Her collaboration with Black Coffee continued with the hit song "Superman," which became a national anthem on dance floors across the country. In 2011, Bucie released her album "Princess Of House," showcasing her versatility as an artist both on and off the microphone. Despite her immense talent, Bucie found more success overseas than at home, captivating audiences with her compelling music wherever she went. In 2012, Bucie collaborated with internationally acclaimed producer and DJ, Louie Vega, on "Angels Are Watching," marking another milestone in her career. Her 2013 hit, "Easy To Love," featuring Heavy K, climbed charts and claimed the number one spot on various stations across Africa. Her album "Princess of House 'Easy to love'" won her a SAMA Award in 2015 for Female Artist of the Year, solidifying her status as one of the most talented vocalists in South Africa.
