El naixement de la banda es remunta al 2009. La formació actual son: Xavi de la Iglesia (guitarra, piano i veu), Vassil Lambrinov (violí), Oriol Aymat (violoncel), Manuel Krapovickas (baix elèctric i contrabaix) i Toni Pagès (batería) La seva música es caracteritza per una fusió de diversos estils, incloent pop, música clàssica i altres influències contemporànies. Les lletres de les seves cançons sovint reflecteixen emocions profundes i experiències personals, creant un estil distintiu i emotiu. BLAUMUT ha aconseguit un èxit notable a Catalunya i altres regions de parla catalana, guanyant una gran base de fans amb cançons com "Pa amb oli i sal", "Bicicletes" o "Vint-i-un botons".
