BZfOS – Bloodsucking Zombies from Outer Space Horror Punk / Shock Rock from Vienna, AT Bloodsucking Zombies from Outer Space (BZfOS) are a Vienna-based horror punk and shock rock institution with a long and distinctive history in the international underground. Originally founded in 2002, BZfOS have spent over two decades building a reputation as one of the most prominent acts in the European horror punk scene – with a broad, genre-defying sound that ranges from dark goth rock and punchy pop punk to playful hard rock, combined with absurd horror humor and a strong DIY ethos. As a staple in the genre, BZfOS have released numerous records, including classics like “All These Fiendish Things” and “Mörder Blues 1–3”, earning them multiple Amadeus Austrian Music Award nominations. In 2025, they released the politically conscious single “Horrorfans Against Racism” featuring punk legend Axel Kurth (WIZO) – a clear statement against racism and exclusion. On stage, the band has toured across almost all of Europe, performing at festivals like Wacken and Nova Rock, as well as in support of Alice Cooper and Bela B., building a loyal and diverse fanbase along the way.
