About Cody Canada and The Departed
Cody Canada was the lead singer/songwriter of the Oklahoma- based rock-country band Cross Canadian Ragweed from their inception in 1998 to their dissolution in 2010. In that time they sold over a million albums.
Cody Canada has returned to vintage Cross Canadian form, seizing the opportunity to take the lead of his four-piece band, The Departed, with a newly energized inspiration to get back to his roots. The time he spent pursuing new creative paths with the Departed was a blessing, allowing him time to develop a rejuvenated appreciation for Ragweed’s legendary body of work and the connections it made with fans.

Cody, Plato and Eric were ON POINT for a GREAT show, Spence was killin’ it at the mercy table, and Cain’s Ballroom is the BEST sound & acoustics of any venue I’ve been to - including those in Texas that boast of their best-of-the-best acoustics.

FINALLY!! Got to see Cody,Jeremy and Eric live @ Elevation 27 in Va Beach and the boys did NOT disappoint!
My favorite band+an awesome venue=a perfect night!
Can't wait to see Cody and the Departed again when they come back to the VA/NC area.

Great show, great venue, good food. Good acoustics and sound system as well. Cody is very laid back, tells great stories relating to his songs, and will take time to say hello to a fan.
