Zwischen Struktur und Freiheit, greift die audio-visuelle Musikgruppe Camera Obscura den vorwärts-treibend Klang von Krautrock auf. Dabei bedient sie sich verschiedenster Medien, bricht deren Barrieren auf. So hat die Band schon Stummfilme live vertont, z.B. Dziga Vertovs "Der Mann mit der Kamera" aus dem Jahre 1929. Camera Obscura lässt Farbe, Form und Klang verschmelzen, wie bei öffentlichen Action-Paintings in Kooperation mit dem Atelier Freistil. Im Rahmen einer Tanz-Performance resoniert die Band in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Theater "Minotauros Kompanie" und der Tanzkompanie "here we are". Ist keine Leinwand da, reicht das innere Auge des Zuhörenden. Denn "Gefühle erkunden und verstärken" ist der Kern von Camera Obscuras künstlerischen Schaffens. Stilistisch geht es dabei in viele Richtungen. Was ist geplant? Was ist improvisiert? Camera Obscura beflügelt die Fantasie.
