In an illustrious career that stretches back over the last 25 years, Chris has earned a reputation as one of the world’s most virtuosic guitarists, with considerable radio and chart success. And with a catalogue of fourteen solo albums, including the critically acclaimed Blue Bolero from 2010, (spawning the single and #1 Billboard Contemporary Jazz Track of the Year with 'Bossa Blue'), Standring continues to push the boundaries of the format with every new album he releases.

Love Chris' guitar playing - he played straight through for an hour, adding some personal notes in between songs. Keyboard player was great too. I traveled from St. Louis to Milwaukee to see him and would do it again.

Chris was smooth as silk and the house band played as though they've been with him for 25 years. The sound engineering was outstanding!!

TOO SHORT!! Chris always puts on a great show with his unique play style. Having his family there at the venue was a plus! Only wish Yoshi's would give these artists more play time in the future!!
