Born the youngest of seven to a sax player father and a nurse mother, his career kicked off with his first band's release ‘Johnny Diesel & The Injectors’ (1989) before going solo as DIESEL in 1991. Known for his spirited guitar-playing, visceral vocals, and a depth of songwriting that has spawned 35 singles including ‘Tip Of My Tongue’, ‘Never Miss Your Water’, ‘Cry In Shame’ and ’15 Feet of Snow’, DIESEL is a journeyman of music.
