About Daughtry

Daughtry, one of the most visible and best-selling rock bands of the 21st century, has sold out concerts across the globe. Their debut album, the self-titled Daughtry, was the top-selling album of 2007 and was the fastest selling rock debut album in Soundscan history. The record was nominated for 4 GRAMMY® Awards and won 4 American Music Awards, alongside 7 Billboard Music Awards, including “Album of the Year.” Subsequent albums, Leave This Town (2009), Break The Spell (2011), and Baptized (2013) have all gone Platinum, with Cage To Rattle (2018) certified Gold. In 2021, the band released their record Dearly Beloved, with singles “World On Fire,” “Heavy Is The Crown,” and “Changes Are Coming,” all cracking the Top 10. Following yet another Top 10 success with their 2023 smash cover of Journey’s “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" featuring Halestorm's Lzzy Hale, Daughtry ushered in a new sonic era with their debut Big Machine Rock single, “Artificial.” The return to their heavy roots scored the band their first No. 1 single in the Active Rock format, followed by yet another No. 1 with follow up track, “Pieces.” The chart-topping singles laid the groundwork for their new EP, Shock to the System (Part One), out now on all platforms. Good concert. Daughtry was awesome but his lyrics were difficult to hear because the band drowned his vocals out. I especially like his new release “Pieces,” which was written in addressing the pain after the loss of his daughter in 2021 to suicide and I think it was helpful to people such as myself and my husband after we lost our 28 year old son to fentanyl. I would enjoy seeing him on his own or at the very least where the band did not drown out his incredibly powerful voice. We saw him in Johnson City, TN on 5/16/24. Love Daughtry! Will see him again.

This was my first ever concert!! I am 52 years young. It was the most amazing experience ever. Two of my favorite bands in one place!! I've listened to Daughtry and Breaking Benjamin for YEARS and seeing them in concert was a dream I never thought would come true. But it did and I had an amazing time and can't wait to go again!! Thank you for coming to Kalamazoo and making this woman's dream come true!! I also have to thank my 20 year old son for making this dream come true for me!! He bought me tickets for my birthday. Best birthday present ever!!

Daughtry as a whole sounded fantastic. Very well polished setlist and top notch musicianship by the entire band. I preferred the harder tracks they played such as Artificial and Heavy is the Crown. I’m not a huge fan of their music but they put on a very well done theatrical performance. Daughtry’s vocals were spot on. The Separate Ways Journey cover was phenomenal. Greatest Journey song in my opinion and done very well by the band. It’s great to see these county fairs getting popular national acts to perform. Overall great show.

The show was awesome! We had the best time from front & center (good thing we are petite as not much leg room at the front of the stage and we had to strain our necks a bit to see up over the stage to see them)! Photo with Ayron Jones, high fives from Daughtry, I got a drum stick from Jeremy Schaffer & my friend got a pick from Marty O’Brien. Super fun times! One for the memory banks for sure! Thank you!🎵❤️🤘🏼😎🤘🏼

Daughtry is always amazing. I loved the show. P.O.D. was great and so was Seether. Now let’s talk about the event. The venue was nice and really not a bad seat in the place except my seats where on the side of the stage and was pissed when I sat down there’s a giant speaker in our view. Every one that came was pissed because none of our tickets said obstructed view. I would’ve bought different seats if it said obstructed view.
