In 1994 a small but vibrant Antwerp music scene meant that most alternative bands were incestuous, liquid beings; with each musician being as likely to be in five bands as one, but a mutual love of all things alternative and underground, melded five talented musicians and performers into dEUS. Since then the line-up has changed several times. At present dEUS consists of Tom Barman, Klaas Janzoons, Stéphane Misseghers, Alan Gevaert and Simen Følstad Nilsen. Excellent show. dEUS have a very characteristic live sound, which their recordings do not quite capture. Their decades of playing together are showing. The venue was perfect, one of the best ones in Berlin. Good sound.
Huxleys Neue Welt Berlin, GermanyA dEUS performance is always something special. As expected, they did not disappoint. Frontman Tom Barman was a bit sick that night, but he stood his ground. What a musical and energetic evening it was!
Ancienne Belgique Bruxelles, BelgiumThis was my fourth dEUS’s concert, the first one was just 20 years ago when The Ideal Crash came out. I couldn’t miss it tonight. Thank you dEUS!
Circolo Magnolia Novegro-Tregarezzo, ItalyWhat is to be expected of such a great band. If you have the opportunity, you go see them. You won't get disappointed!
Paradiso Amsterdam, NetherlandsDe show was TOP!!! Het festival was héél goed georganiseerd. Vlotte bediening, nette toiletten ( wat ikzelf héél belangrijk vind), goeie artiesten,… Hopelijk volgend jaar terug?!
