About Def Leppard
Over four decades since their 1977 formation in Sheffield, UK, Def Leppard not only maintain, but also extend one of rock music's greatest legacies by a commitment to airtight songcraft and top-flight performances. Long before selling over 100 million records worldwide, earning two RIAA Diamond certifications, and inspiring everyone from Metallica to Taylor Swift, the group released their platinum debut On Through The Night in 1980 followed by the double-platinum 1981 epic High 'n' Dry. Ignited by singles such as "Photograph," "Rock of Ages," "Foolin'," and more, 1983's Pyromania eventually became a Diamond-seller, moving over 10 million units in the U.S. alone by 2004. In 1987, Hysteria cemented them as icons. Included among Rolling Stone's coveted 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, their best-seller houses "Pour Some Sugar On Me," "Animal," "Love Bites," "Hysteria," "Rocket," and "Armageddon It." Standing out as the "51st best-selling album ever in the states," Hysteria has sold in excess of 30 million copies globally and 12 million in North America. The record notably spent 96 weeks in the Top 40-a feat shared only by Born in the U.S.A. Its success made them "one of only five rock bands with two original studio albums selling over 10 million copies in the U.S." In 1992, the triple-platinum Adrenalize catapulted to #1 on the Top 200 as well as reaching #1 in a total of 23 countries. A string of fan favorites followed, including the gold-selling Slang [1996] and Euphoria [1999], X [2002], and Yeah! [2006]. 2008's Songs from the Sparkle Lounge bowed at #5 as the musicians joined forces with Taylor Swift to perform the single "Love" on CMT Crossroads. The 2015 self-titled Def Leppard repeated that chart success, crashing the Top 200 at #10. Along the way, everyone from Santana and Daughtry to Mariah Carey, The All-American Rejects, and Offspring would either cover or sample their music. Now, 2018 represents yet another watershed moment. The group unleashes their full catalog on digital platforms for the very first time and launches a landmark co-headline tour alongside Journey.

All 4 stars go to the band!! Loved the show the band put on. The problem I had was with the crowd. I get it we are all getting older but seriously the whole upper bowl sat for the entire show. My wife and I came ready to rock but it’s hard when the entire upper section was sitting for a rock and roll show!! Let it all hang out for two hours and respect the band enough to show you happy to be there. I’ve seen livelier crowds at church. So the band gets 5 stars and the crowd gets 0. And I’d still give it 4 out of 5 stars!!!

Wow wow wow wow! Def Leppard absolutely killed it with an impeccable show! We sat 6 rows from the front in this large stadium and the sound was amazingly crisp! Joe and the boys played their hearts out for over an hour and a half, giving us their new single “Just Like 73” as well as deep cuts such as Comin’ Under Fire (Third Time Ever Played), Die Hard The Hunter, Rock! Rock!, Too Late For Love, And plenty/most songs on Pyromania to celebrate the 40th anniversary! And of course all of the hits were played as well as a fun acoustic set in the middle! What a show!

Def Leppard was solid and always puts on a great show. Wish that they had closed out the night though as they SHOULD have been the feature group of the night!! Poison and Joan Jett were also on par for the earlier opening acts. Motley Crew played loud and had lots of girls dancing around half naked but didn’t bring the house down as the finishing act of the night. Crew still can play the music, just can’t sing much anymore, as Vince just seems a bit tired from singing these songs for so long… overall though a memorable and fun night out in Philly!!! 👍🏼👍🏼🎸🌃

Steve Miller was verybgood. You would never guess he was 80 years old! Journey was too loud, and indecipherable. Songs were half way done before I could even figure out what song they were playing. Def Leppard was great. The set list was good but I could have done without Two Steps Behind and what someone listed as Switch 625. I'd never heard either one before. As for Comerica Park as a concert venue, the concourse was over crowded and there are not enough bathrooms. We were in section 133 and the sight lines were obstructed by makeshift speaker poles (overkill not needed)

We had an awesome time. This was my 4th time seeing Def Leppard live and they still put on a great show and sound as amazing as they did 15 years ago the last time I saw them. It was our 1st time seeing Motley Crew and they tore the house down. Alice Cooper's special guest appearance was also a great treat, would love to finally see a full Alice Cooper show in the future. If you are wanting to see any of the 3 bands I will tell you it will be well worth it and an awesome time.

Def Leppard was absolutely amazing!!! They never disappoint their fans; especially live in concert. The truly care about their fans, family, friends and most importantly theirselves and all members of the band. They continue to keep theirselves healthy and fit so they can put on a show for their fans. Their performance on 8/12/2022 at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA, had the entire stadium up on their feet, singing, dancing and having a fantastic time!!!! Thank you for the many, many wonderful memories and the excitement and fun through Def Leppard"s set!!!!

Finally at last! 2 years delayed! Poison boys stole the show, full of energy, gracious - seemed like they were happy to be there. Crue up next, massive smoke shows, what you hear is true, there Bass is turned up a little to loud, Vince does mess up the words from time to time, but he looked and sounded good. Def Lep final act, looked good, sounded good, light shows awesome! Go with an empty bladder, and full wallet, long restroom lines, and expensive concessions….

Absolutely great performance! The guys sounded amazing! I took a half star off though because they went last and the reality of 4 hall of fame acts in one night is so freaking intense and, ultimately, exhausting. The audience was a tad tired by the time they went on and the band started with 2 new songs which affected the crowd energy. They should have started with some classics and progressed to the new stuff once they had the audience energy back up. Other than that, it was a great show!!

The show was absolutely amazing! Nobody rocks like Def Leppard. Journey and Cheap Trick put on great shows as well. Def Leppard was really up close and personal with their fans. If you went to the Stadium Tour like I did last year, you did not see this. It is a completely different show. I don't want to say anymore, because I love surprises (wouldn't look at the setlist) and don't want to spoil it for anyone else. It was so worth it! No one left disappointed:).

I saw Def Leppard at Red Rocks in the late 80s during their prime. They were amazing then and are still amazing!!!! So impressed that they still sound so good. Steve Miller Band was great too! Journey was very disappointing. Their sound is not the same with the new lead singer. It sounds like he is just screaming most of the time. The drummer, Steve Castronovo, has a much better voice and it just fits with the songs so much better.
