Deep Forest is the musical world of Grammy Award-winning composer and producer Eric Mouquet. Since the release of the iconic hit Sweet Lullaby in 1992, Deep Forest has become one of the pioneering acts blending electronic music with traditional cultures and voices from around the world. The project has sold millions of albums worldwide, earned multiple Gold and Platinum certifications, and received the 1995 Grammy Award for Boheme. Over more than three decades, Eric Mouquet has collaborated with artists including Peter Gabriel, Joe Zawinul, Josh Groban, Rahul Sharma, Chitose Hajime, Sa Dingding and many others, constantly exploring new musical territories while remaining faithful to the spirit that made Deep Forest unique. Today, Deep Forest continues as Eric Mouquet's solo project, combining cutting-edge technologies, immersive sound design and influences from every continent into a distinctive cinematic and emotional experience. In 2026, Deep Forest opens a new chapter with SOUL, an album exploring the bridge between ancestral emotions and modern technologies, carried by hybrid voices, organic rhythms and evocative soundscapes. More than thirty years after its debut, Deep Forest remains a unique voice in contemporary electronic world music.
