Deadhorse is a DIY post-rock band based in Erie, PA. With ambient soundscapes, harsh dynamics, triumph and tragedy, Deadhorse create atmospheres to fit the tumultuous scenes of our daily lives with straight-forward, unapologetic messages of hope, community, unity, change, and revolution. Starting in 2009, the band entered a period of heavy touring with their debut LP "We Can Create Our Own World" released by Broken Circles Records. After countless circles around the USA and playing in 22 countries overseas, the band went on a hiatus in 2012 when all band members were looking to transition out of music and into other areas of focus in their personal lives. New music was recorded and then re-released in 2016 as "Decay", featuring songs that were supposed to be a part of an abandoned LP project in 2014. After remaining silent for nearly 5 years, the band has come alive once again in 2017 with a brand new album to share with the world entitled "Crescendo". With plans to play shows and tour once again, it looks as if the final pages have not been written for Deadhorse, for this may be a new beginning.
