Edinburgh four-piece Fright Years have quickly emerged as one of Scotland's most exciting indie rock bands, blending emotionally charged songwriting with soaring guitars and anthemic hooks. Since forming in 2021, Jules Kelly, Harrison MacLeod-Bonnar, Fraser Charleson and Struan Blacklock have built a reputation for powerful live shows and deeply personal songs, earning BBC Radio 1 support, TV placements, sold-out UK dates and critical acclaim for their debut EP Still Life, produced by Theo Verney. Now signed to a new label, the band return with Never Been Wrong, the first single from an upcoming EP. Drawing influence from Wolf Alice, The Killers and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Fright Years pair Kelly's commanding vocals with cinematic indie rock that has already seen them share stages with Twin Atlantic, Fatherson and Lucia & The Best Boys, marking them as one of the UK's most promising new guitar bands.
