About Frida
FRIDA is a post-hardcore band based out of El Paso, Texas. Formed in 2014, the band gathers the talent of 6 musicians who combine their musical influences and experience to push forward towards one common goal: make music that is both heartfelt and energizing. Taking advantage of the vast richness of the Spanish language, FRIDA takes this language completely apart and puts it back together to write about love, courage, energy, hope, and happiness. And that is exactly what is transmitted through the speakers at their shows. Lyrics are complemented by heavy, fist-pumping riffs, catchy chorus hooks, energy-filled screamo vocals, and harmonious synths.
