About Hyperdose
HYPERDOSE is led by former Blacklite District frontman Roman James, welcoming the new era of cage-rattling active rock future. The cataclysmic new single, “NOT READY TO DIE,” offers the strength of upward waves. The new EP, “ART OF YOU,” (August 31st, 2023, release) was recorded at Aphotic Studios in Wichita, KS, and produced by Billboard Top 40 Hard Rock Producer Chris Dawson (Seasons After, Saul, Gears, Shallow Side, Ovtlier, Any Given Sin). The music video for "NOT READY TO DIE" was filmed by Director/Cinematographer/Editor Juan Ibanez (Atreyu, Sevendust, P.O.D) - St. Louis, MO. Co-founding twin brothers, Blake & Justin Mattea, Oniel Laffitte, and Angel Delgado have collateralized with singer Roman James to cast heat-seeking, unhinged hard rock. HYPERDOSE is on course for a blistering 2023/2024 season. The second EP and 2018’s, “DISASTER,” was recorded at Crosstrax Studios in Memphis, TN with Grammy-nominated Producer Justin Rimer (12 Stones, Saving Abel, Wayland, Full-Devil Jacket). The most popular track from 2016’s “IMPACT” is "COMING FOR YOU." The Debut Single, “TAKE CONTROL” was released in April 2015 and features guest vocals from Gabe Aranda of the Modern Act, Aranda. HYPERDOSE is Roman James (Spearfish, SD): Vocals, Blake Mattea (OKC, OK): Guitar, Justin Mattea (OKC, OK): Bass, Oniel Laffitte (Orlando, FL): Guitar, Programming, Angel Delgado (Miami, FL): Drums.
