Since forming in Pretoria, South Africa in 1999, SEETHER has amassed a global fan base that has grown organically with the quartet’s sense of purpose and commitment spreading outwards, offering their fans around the world camaraderie, comfort and a sense of personal power. While others of their ilk faded away, SEETHER maintains a strong sense of self, ignoring trends and critics in favor of a consummate devotion to their craft. Their impressive sales and chart history includes three platinum and two gold albums, 15 #1 singles (including 2017’s “Let You Down,” 2014’s “Words as Weapons,” and 2011’s “Tonight”); 19 Top 5 multi-format hits, with US singles sales topping 17 million and over 1.5 billion streams world-wide across all platforms. Three years after releasing their critically acclaimed record Poison The Parish, multi-platinum selling rock band SEETHER announces their highly anticipated return with the new album, Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum out August 28th, 2020 via Fantasy Records. Translating to “If You Want Peace, Prepare For War,” the album features 13 new tracks, a primal mix of euphoria and misery, undoubtedly some of the strongest material of SEETHER’s illustrious career, including the beautifully tormented first single “Dangerous” released today alongside an animated music video created by noted Turkish director Mertcan Mertbilek (Santana, Ray Charles, Ravi Shankar, Elvis Costello). They are also creators of the Rise Above Fest, founded in 2012 to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental illness. Past headliners of the annual gathering include Slash, Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach & many more. Since conception, the Rise Above Fest has turned into a broader movement, expanding its presence at additional music festivals around the globe. All SEETHER shows donate $1 of ticket sales to benefit the SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices Of Education) organization.

I thought the sound at Frontwave Arena was great. It was clean and not overwhelming. I look forward to attending more concerts there. My concern is, when leaving, they only had one exit lane open and forced all cars to only turn left. Why in the world wouldn't both turning lanes be open? If an event is completely sold out, this is going to be a problem and could make people decide not to attend this venue. That's why I avoid the Chula Vista venue. The Warning and Seether were awesome. 🤘🏻
Frontwave Arena Oceanside, CASeether was great as I had seen them earlier this year. Judas Mind was awesome, can't wait for the new album!!! Skillet was Awesome, my first time seeing them. I highly recommend you check this tour out if you can!!! Tim Montana was Awesome as well!!! I got to meet Tim in the hall after his set n got a pic with him. He's a nice humble guy that can Rock!!! .....Royale Lynn was goid as well if you like FlyLeaf/ Evanescence style music.
Harrah's Cherokee Center Asheville, NCI don't have any photos, but I had just saw Seether and Ten years In Sodo, Seattle 10 days prior. I just got back from Alaska. Then went home and saw them again. They play live so so so well. I think it's funny that they use to open up for Nickelback, because they are the fore front of post-grunge now. As an "at-home" musician. You are my inspiration, and if you ever sever this comment. I don't feel so alone with my crippling depression. And thank you.
Dort Event Center Flint, MIIt was great seeing them in MN again and the show/set was good. I'm not a fan of Remedy being the closer. I need to hear more songs NOT played on the radio as a longtime fan. That being said Shawn sounded amazing. I felt the screams and his vibe. I think the set list is always better when they headline so come back as such soon and to a smaller venue and rock out with your MN fans! 🤘
Mystic Lake Amphitheater Shakopee, MNShawn still has the passion and sings like a man possessed. They played a deep cut set list in a truly a master performance. I was blown away. Many folks were waiting on a particular hit song and never got it. If they were disappointed, they missed out on enjoying some amazing songs they will likely never hear performed live again (e.g. The Gift, Like Suicide). This was a once-in-a lifetime performance from Seether.
