About Seether
Since forming in Pretoria, South Africa in 1999, SEETHER has amassed a global fan base that has grown organically with the quartet’s sense of purpose and commitment spreading outwards, offering their fans around the world camaraderie, comfort and a sense of personal power. While others of their ilk faded away, SEETHER maintains a strong sense of self, ignoring trends and critics in favor of a consummate devotion to their craft. Their impressive sales and chart history includes three platinum and two gold albums, 15 #1 singles (including 2017’s “Let You Down,” 2014’s “Words as Weapons,” and 2011’s “Tonight”); 19 Top 5 multi-format hits, with US singles sales topping 17 million and over 1.5 billion streams world-wide across all platforms. Three years after releasing their critically acclaimed record Poison The Parish, multi-platinum selling rock band SEETHER announces their highly anticipated return with the new album, Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum out August 28th, 2020 via Fantasy Records. Translating to “If You Want Peace, Prepare For War,” the album features 13 new tracks, a primal mix of euphoria and misery, undoubtedly some of the strongest material of SEETHER’s illustrious career, including the beautifully tormented first single “Dangerous” released today alongside an animated music video created by noted Turkish director Mertcan Mertbilek (Santana, Ray Charles, Ravi Shankar, Elvis Costello). They are also creators of the Rise Above Fest, founded in 2012 to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental illness. Past headliners of the annual gathering include Slash, Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach & many more. Since conception, the Rise Above Fest has turned into a broader movement, expanding its presence at additional music festivals around the globe. All SEETHER shows donate $1 of ticket sales to benefit the SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices Of Education) organization.

I don't have any photos, but I had just saw Seether and Ten years In Sodo, Seattle 10 days prior. I just got back from Alaska. Then went home and saw them again. They play live so so so well. I think it's funny that they use to open up for Nickelback, because they are the fore front of post-grunge now. As an "at-home" musician. You are my inspiration, and if you ever sever this comment. I don't feel so alone with my crippling depression. And thank you.

Excellent Show! This app only lets me rate 4.5 but I give the band ⭐️ 5 STARS ⭐️ It was my first time seeing Seether & my son’s first time seeing them as well. I would recommend seeing them again! (venue needs to cut people off that have had too much alcohol though) Some of the people were out of control drunk & it was an all ages show...FYI 👏🏻🙌🏻 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻 Thank you 😊 😍

Set was pretty short as they had four bands playing that night. Sound quality in the new Frontwave Arena in Oceanside. Show crowd wasn’t overly large. Seether was good. Not a lot of interaction with the crowd. Mostly went from song to song to song. Song arrangements were a little varied so that was fun to see the band change it up some. Fun night out with my wife. .

Wonderful show! From the openers to the main actor, it was a blast! Got fist bumps from every band, a guitar pic, and everything that the VIP package gives you. It was an awesome night! I can’t feel my legs today and I’m pretty sure I blew an eardrum. It was a blast! Tons of energy from the bands, it was definitely a show you wouldn’t want to miss!

Such a good show!! The band sounded great. They play their music without all the extraneous talking between songs. It is a live show, minimal backing tracks (if any). My 13th time seeing them, and I am planning more. Stage AE is an awesome venue. They posted on Facebook that the show was moved inside, so we were prepared. Second time there, first inside.

Of the four bands playing Seether was the disappointment. Instead of interacting with the crowd they did this weird very heavy on the reverb guitar riffs between songs to the point you didn't know what song was starting. Vocally they weren't as consistent as the other bands either. I wouldn't see them live again unless they were at a festival or something.

See ther was absolutely fantastic!!! They rocked it the entire time they were onstage. The only thing that sucked was we couldn’t see them due to an undisclosed obstruction of the stage. I paid extra for the tickets and couldn’t see anything. Not the bands fault at all. They still sounded AMAZING!! If you have a chance see them live!

I was very impressed with the show. Only thing was I wished they were the main band that was playing instead of the 2 other bands opening/ closing for them. The songs they performed were awesome but wished they included other songs like careless whisper or FMLYHM. Other than that I’ll definitely see them again in the future!

My 3rd time seeing Seether! I love them so much. Their music pulled me through some rotten years. I managed to get 1 person away from the rail right in front of Shaun. They had great energy compared to the last time I saw them. Corey looked like he was having a blast on stage the most!
