While Sweden based Hertz (Pierre Jerksten) was already known in the 90's, during the upcoming of dance music, for his numerous remixes and productions (being nominated for Best Producer and Best Remixer in the Swedish Dance Music Awards, 1995), he has since 2000/2001 taken his music back to the underground dance scene with his record labels Q-Records, Abyss and Sway. Along with his harder techno production alias Hertz, he has established himself as an important part of the new generation of techno talents, being currently described as one of the hottest techno producers around.
