Displaying an adeptness for creating aural arrangements that vary in style, beauty, complexity, and emotional depth, ILLENIUM’s impeccable sound design has truly established him as one of the best producers in the game. His stunning records come to life in his live show, incorporating keyboards, drum pads, and cutting-edge lighting and visuals, all of which combine to create an immersive experience. It was so good! Oh my gosh. I didn’t give it 5 stars because there was very little communication about anything until the day of. The venue staff/Argus staff had sticks up their butts and we’re picking and choosing who could sit where (which is ridiculous because ga 100 admissions did not have reserved seating.
Empower Field at Mile High Denver, COProbably the most fun since Jawbreaker Festival sewing RL Grime and Odesza. Best line up night with 4 of my favorite artists and to top it all off, they all played together during Illenium’s set. Illenium threw down with amazing dubstep remixes of his Awake album. Visuals were on queue. What an amazing night!
Aragon Ballroom (Night One) *SOLD OUT* Chicago, ILIllenium, Said the Sky and Annika Wells performances were all well done. Said the sky was Vibe’n the whole time and Illenium Killed it with the visuals. Was awesome to see everyone on stage doing what they do best together. Its always a pleasure seeing Illeniums performance on a stage.
Masonic Temple Theatre Detroit, MIAbsolutely fantastic, the lighting and visuals were unbelievably creative and unique, and the live aspects of the show made the connection so much deeper as a listener. I would go to every show on this tour if I could and would still love every night just as much.
Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell Lowell, MAI'll go anywhere for some illenium!!! I will say this was my first experience at forest hills and the venue was super cool !! Definitely more mellow and trancy than the last few times at metlife and hijinx ! but honestly it was overall great.
