Joan Jett grew up during a time when rock ‘n’ roll was off limits to girls and women, but as a teenager, she promptly blasted the door to the boys’ club right off its hinges. After forming her band the Blackhearts in 1979, with whom Jett has become a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, she has had eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 singles, including the classics "Bad Reputation," "I Love Rock 'N' Roll," "I Hate Myself For Loving You," and "Crimson and Clover." With a career that has spanned music, film, television, Broadway, and humanitarianism, Joan Jett remains a potent force and inspiration to generations of fans worldwide. As a producer, she has overseen seminal albums by Bikini Kill, and the Germs' LA punk masterpiece ‘GI.’ Jett and Kenny Laguna (her longtime producer and music partner) co-founded Blackheart Records from the trunk of Kenny’s Cadillac after rejections from no less than 23 labels. 40 years later, Blackheart is a thriving entertainment company producing music, film and television, and continues to champion emerging bands. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts continue to tour the world with headlining shows and alongside fellow rock legends like The Who, Green Day, Heart, Foo Fighters, Alanis Morrissette (2024), and Billy Idol (2025). 'Bad Reputation,' a documentary about Jett's life, premiered to critical acclaim at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Their first-ever acoustic album Changeup, their latest EP Mindsets, and documentary 'Bad Reputation,' are all available to stream now.

The rain was harsh, but Joan was AMAZING. She’s an idol of mine and loved her in the runaways and all the covers she did. If she did a stadium tour solo I’d be all over it. She did all my favorite songs of hers and my favorite covers. Go see her! Sounds just like her records.

I don’t know where they got the wildly inappropriate wannabe country opener, who was competent but oddly out of place opening for Joan Jett. But Joan is the essence of someone who’s dedicated her life to rock and roll. Always highly recommended.
Ryman Auditorium Nashville, TNI was surprised it was in the parking lot! Only T W O beer stations, but the second one was behind the barrier for the more expensive seats. Which means you stood in line over 30 minutes. I didn’t have my first beer till 9:10, show over 9:30
Seven Feathers Casino Resort Canyonville, ORReally solid opening set by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Hit all the right spots, with conviction and energy. The production only enhanced the talents of Joan and the band providing a really good experience of taking in her catalogue. For me "Everyday People" was a highlight. Bravo & kudos.
