About Jack Gardiner

Jack Gardiner (born in 1993) is a highly acclaimed solo artist and session guitarist from Liverpool, U.K., now based in Switzerland. Guitar World hails him as “the Ibanez-toting, Neural DSP aficionado” and “one seriously gifted guitar player”, highlighting his mastery of control, theory, technique, and phrasing across a wide range of styles. Starting his professional journey at just 15, Jack performed with prominent rap and R&B artists such as KOF and Janice Myers, including appearances on BBC Radio One Live Lounge at Maida Vale Studios. By 16, he was studying under world- renowned fusion guitarist Tom Quayle, a mentorship that deeply shaped his style and sound. In 2017, Jack’s career took a leap forward when Stu Hamm (Steve Vai) invited him to join his Greatest Hits Tour. That same year, Jack also became a member of the iconic 80’s pop/rock band China Crisis. 2020 marked a milestone with the release of his debut single, SkyBluePink feat. Owane, followed by his solo EP Escapades. Guitar World praised SkyBluePink for its precision and heart, and lauded Escapades as a “fusion masterclass” showcasing his formidable chops and exquisite note choices. By 2024, Jack had expanded his discography with two additional EPs, supported Plini and Arch Echo on European and Japanese tours, and performed at major festivals such as Rewind Festival, RADAR Festival, and W-Festival. His collaborations have included Henrik Linder (Dirty Loops), Riccardo Oliva & Gianluca Pellerito (Matteo Mancuso), and numerous masterclasses alongside Guthrie Govan, Andy Timmons, Nick Johnston, and Greg Howe. In 2024–25, Jack entered an exciting new chapter. He released the singles Shibuya Meltdown (feat. Gianluca Pellerito & Riccardo Oliva) Sandglass (feat. Andy Timmons), Eightfold Fence (feat. Mariko Muranaka), Mugen (feat. Henrik Linder) and a 6 track EP Urushi. He also joined Dirty Loops on stage as a special guest in Zurich, collaborated with Cory Wong and Henrik Linder on the track Matterhorn in partnership with Neural DSP, and filmed music videos in both Japan, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland & USA. In 2026 so far, Jack has released the singles Taxman (feat. Owane & Henrik Linder) and Fan Boy (feat. Henrik Linder & Aron Mellergård) - two members of Dirty Loops & side project Songs For Lovers. Looking ahead, Jack is preparing to release his debut, full-length Album Kintsugi on March 13th 2026, while continuing to expand his global presence through new collaborations, masterclasses, clinics, social media content, and live performances. He is due to embark on his first ever headline tour in Finland, Asia (India, China, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan) and Australia on March 16th 2026 with a band comprising of Henrik Linder on Bass, Rob Araujo on Keyboards and Porter Bliquez on drums. ‘A quick search on YouTube will unearth a plethora of young guitarists with great technique and Jack is certainly a young guitarist with great technique. What sets him apart from so many of his contemporaries, however, is his innate musicality and also his abundance of experience as a live performer in the “real world”. ... a guitar player who can offer technical facility and musicality in equal measure.’ – Guthrie Govan
