Multi-platinum MCA Nashville recording artist Josh Turner, is one of country music’s most recognizable hit-makers. With a rich, deep voice and distinctive style, Turner has sold more than 12.5 million units, is a disciple of traditional country music and one of the youngest members of the esteemed Grand Ole Opry. From his 2003 platinum-selling debut Long Black Train to his most recent 2017 Billboard No. 1 release, Deep South, Turner has garnered multiple GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM nominations. Turner’s hits include “Your Man,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” “Firecracker,” “Would You Go with Me,” “All Over Me,” and “Time Is Love,” the most played country song of 2012. Turner released his sixth studio album Deep South in March featuring the #1 hit single “Hometown Girl.” Turner shares, “I’ve lived a lot of life since the release of my last album (Punching Bag) and I’ve learned a lot during the making of this album. I have grown as a writer and as an artist. It’s been cool to see this culmination of life and lessons and age boiled down into this project and I am really proud of Deep South.” Turner wrote four of the 11 tracks on the highly-anticipated album including the title track and he is impressing fans and critics alike. Rolling Stone declares that Turner, with his “river deep baritone,” delivers an “eagerly awaited album from a country purist.” PEOPLE Magazine says the “Nashville veteran flaunts his deep bass” on Deep South and that the album is “an ode to down-home staples, from finding that perfect love on ‘Hometown Girl’ to savoring the laid-back life on the title track.” Turner checked off another bucket list item when he added author to his list of accomplishments. His first book, Man Stuff: Thoughts on Faith, Family and Fatherhood was released in 2014. As highlighted in the book, the Hannah, S.C. native has been songwriting and performing since he was a young child, and in support of music education, created The Josh Turner Scholarship Fund to assist students interested in pursuing a future in arts and music. As a high school student, Turner had very little access to music education, therefore realizes first-hand the importance of arts education in schools.

The show was fine, however the venue had issues. They gave us the wrong color wristbands. We got wristbands for general admission, not reserved as our tickets clearly showed. My wife and I got separated, when I got to the gate I was sent back to guest services to get the correct band. My wife was instructed to go around to general admission. She didn't get to her seat until more than half way through the show. She said she got to pet the police horses so all was not lost.
Douglas County Fairgrounds Castle Rock, COThe show was awesome! John Turner is a great singer and last night the music mix and vocals were perfect. You could HEAR and UNDERSTAND every word he sang. His songs are great and he just seems like someone you could sit down and have a normal conversation with. This is the third time I've seen him in the past two years. And I'll go again next time he's close by if at all possible! If you've never seen him in person, you've missed a great perfomer!
Oxford Performing Arts Center Oxford, ALThe Josh Turner concert was amazing! We loved the good, down home, wholesome music. Love him and his music. There was one point where people were encouraged to get up and dance. That was awesome to see. The ONLY downside had to do with lighting. The stage spot lights kept flashing into the crowed which was blinding and took away from the enjoyment of the performance. Fellow concert goers next to me made similar comments about the unpleasantness of that aspect. Lighting aside, amazing show!
Harrah's Ak-Chin Hotel & Casino Maricopa, AZJosh turner was great! Only issue we had was with weather ending the show early as well as starting early. The notification of the show change was sent by email which I didn’t see until the next day. Think the show was moved up in time which we weren’t aware of and missed the opening acts as well as time to explore merch. Sad and disappointing but still a great show
Round Rock Amp Round Rock, TXI had 3rd row seats from 3 yrs .ago. Josh was amazing as he always is. I had tickets in Reno a week before this concert but had to cancel because I had a torn meniscus and couldn’t make the trip. Josh spotted me and pointed to my leg. He is the BEST country singer on this earth and I can’t wait to see him again.
