Eine Stimme, so special, dass man sie und ihr raues Timbre unter tausenden sofort erkennt, dazu melancholisch-melodischen Songs über die eigenen Sorgen und Sehnsüchte - JBS hat derzeit das, was man guten Gewissens einen echten Hype nennen kann. Mit Songs wie „Paris Paris“, aber auch der fast 30 Millionen Mal gestreamten Collabo „Unendlichkeit“ mit MilleniumKid landete JBS mit jedem neuen Release in Playlisten & Covern, aber auch im Radio einen Hit nach dem anderen. Gerade mal 18 Jahre alt, ist JBS ohne Frage einer der Newcomer des letzten Jahres – und ein echtes Multitalent. 2005 in Ibbenbüren geboren, produziert und schreibt er seine ersten Songs in seinem Keller und singt dazu mit einer beeindruckend-berührenden Stimme. Nur konsequent. Schließlich war Musik schon immer da. Mit acht spielt er Gitarre, mit elf in seiner ersten Band, mit 14 kommen elektronische Musik und Trap-Beats dazu. Aus einer Discord-Connection mit MilleniumKid und nasskalt. entstehen schließlich erste Collabos wie „Gedanken kreisen überm Bett“ und „Adrenalin“, ehe 2023 schließlich mit „Vielleicht Vielleicht“ der große Durchbruch gelingt.
