Q: Where did you grow up? A: On the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii Q: When did you start playing guitar? A: I started playing when I was 14. Q: What was the first song you learned on the guitar? A: I learned two at the same time: "One" by Metallica and "Father and Son" by Cat Stevens. Q: What did you do before you put out Brushfire Fairytales? A: I made surf films. Q: What are some of your favorite Surf Movies? A: The Seedling, Litmus, Filthy Habbits, Blazing Boards, Bunyip Dreaming, Green Iguana, and Endless Summer. Q: Who are some of your (musical) influences? A: I dig Nick Drake, The Beatles, Hendrix, Tribe Called Quest, Dylan, Ben Harper, Radio Head, G. Love and Special Sauce, Otis Redding, Neil Young, Marley, Kurosawa, Tom Curren and so on.

It was almost perfect, Jack Johnson never disappoints! The venue however was so crammed and packed. It seemed like there was only standing room left and that’s not cool. Don’t sell over capacity next time MidFlorida Credit Union amphitheater.
MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre Tampa, FLJack was Great! Ziggy as the opener was great. I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to Alpharetta Georgia though, the town has some very weird curfews on a Saturday night that I wasn’t prepared for.
Ameris Bank Amphitheatre Alpharetta, GAJack Johnson was outstanding- first concert in five years. The opening group Durand Jones and the Indications were great. We lucked out with a guest appearance- Zac Brown. The concert was one of my favorite ones.
Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion Gilford, NHAwesome show for an awesome purpose. It’s beautiful to see such creativity and collaboration bring a personal and meaningful event to the world at a time when we all have to keep our distance.
Live Stream Pu‘uohoku Ranch, HIHappiest and most peaceful concert experience ive ever had Jack and Ziggy ripped it up, incredible performances from everyone. Jack took requests during the encore it was just great. Fiddlers is bigger than I remember!
