Kairos is a three-piece reggae/rock group out of San Marcos, TX founded in November of 2016. Members Jacob Michael, Brent Miller and Jake Davila have adopted a fusion of American rock and blues power, Hip Hop and island style Reggae to create a sound that is exciting and makes it hard to stand still. Kairos features catchy melodies, rich harmonies and irresistible grooves sure to leave a lasting impression. A few of Kairos’ musical influences include Sublime, The Roots, Parliament-Funkadelic and Atmosphere. Kairos released their debut E.P., Cuatro on August 31st, 2017. Cuatro was recorded and produced entirely by Patrick McCurry at MAP Recording Studios in San Marcos, TX. Additionally, they will be playing live shows throughout Texas as they produce their full-length album. Kairos has performed at MR Fest, Martian Arts Fest and performed as the feature band at the Texas Ski Ranch Freeze Ride wakeboard competition. Currently, Kairos is in MAP Recording Studios again working on a new single, E.M.P. which will be released on February 14th, 2018 as well as their first full-length album which is scheduled to release the summer of 2018. While in the recording process, Kairos will be performing through-out Texas and preparing for a regional tour later this year.
