Laguna Pai empezó a sonar en el año 2008 en Lima, Peru. Utilizando tres guitarras simultáneamente, sintetizadores, teclados clásicos y una base rítmica de Reggae y Rock, nace un estilo nuevo. Se puede sentir la influencia de Bob Marley & The Wailers, Pink Floyd, Manu Chao y música Peruana. Teniendo un álbum ya en el mercado llamado Kultura Babylon (A Tutiplén Records, 2010) la banda está a punto de lanzar su nueva producción en el año 2013. Temas de reflexión, conciencia, espiritualidad, conservación y una fina crítica a la política y al sistema occidental son parte del mensaje de Laguna Pai.
