Lee Mead shot to fame when he won the coveted role of Joseph in the 2007 revival of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat through the BBC TV casting show Any Dream Will Do, and went on to appear in West End shows Legally Blonde and Wicked before scoring the part of Lofty Chiltern in 2014, a part especially written for him in BBC TV’s hospital drama Casualty. Lee’s character then moved across to Holby City, playing the same character until 2019. Lee also toured with the hit show Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in 2016. A panto regular, Lee starred in the first pantomime at the London Palladium, Cinderella, in 2016 and this year will be at the Milton Keynes Theatre from 19 December through 10 January 2021 playing Prince Charming in Sleeping Beauty.
