Molly Grace is a twenty-year-old singer/songwriter with a whole lot of heart, charm, & soul. A frequent user of a good ol’ major seventh chord, Molly blends sweet jazz-inspired chord progressions with witty, conversational lyrics to create a sound that is uniquely hers. Drawing inspiration from artists like Lake Street Dive, Lawrence the Band, and Lizzo, Molly combines elements of neo-soul, retro pop, R&B, and pop within the music that she writes. Molly is nothing if she ain’t honest; to know her music is to know her heart, and you’re certain to find a piece of yourself in her lyrics. Molly hails from just outside of Boston, MA in a historical little town called Lexington. She got her first guitar at age 10, learned the four basic chords and began writing music. It wasn’t until Molly packed up and moved to Nashville that she truly found her sound as a songwriter and independent artist, though. Molly has always said that her greatest dream is to simply be able to make a living as a musician. With buzz growing around her music, it’s certain she’s on her way to making that happen. When Molly isn’t performing or writing, you can find her watching true crime documentaries with her roommates at Belmont University or strutting the aisles of Trader Joe’s.
