About MEGA
MEGA also known as @megaishername is that rare artist whose voice and songwriting seems to connect with our very souls. The British-Ugandan artist's fourth EP, I Am Enough, is a stunning and assured work that urges us to reclaim our power, and to step into life with a renewed sense of purpose.
The latest MEGA single My Bones currently sits on the BBC Radio 2 Playlist and The Times Best New Songs Of 2025.
MEGA's music is a vivid tapestry of influences, drawing from her Ugandan heritage, childhood experiences in choirs, and love of a broad spectrum of genres including soul, pop and indie. Early champions include the likes of The Independent, NME, Wonderland, Clash and support across BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and Radio 6. Her debut single, Chariot, a radiant anthem of hope and resilience, has now surpassed 50 million streams and led to two acclaimed EPs, Future Me and Colour Your World.
Taking inspiration from her past, she often takes themes of self-esteem, self-love and growth and turns them into emotive songs with enchanting melodies.
